Theorically, subscriptors have more chances to be in the main page, and to be viewed. Still that doesnt really count. In deviantart Pageviews aren't really related with the skills (althought it is one of the factors, is not the more important), but is more related in "what you draw". usually, those who draw popular things, have a lot of pageviews... just check the "most popular of all the time" page, and you will notice it.

As an exemple, I can say that my most fav work was a naruto-related fanart, that was a request from a friend. even now, after 2 years or so since I drew it, people keep on faving it, but still they ignore my other works, even if they are better than this old drawing.

It also can be seen looking the stadistics. probably your most faved and commented piccie will be not the one in where you put more effort, but more the one who is related with a popular topic.

I have seen also other people that had a lot of pageviews, not because they art are good, but because they were very active in deviantart for one or another reason. then all the people they commented and helped, feel like their obligation is to take a look to their stuff. is a very hard and time consuming way to get pageviews, but some has become very popular doing only that, and whitout submitting any art.

Another sad way to get pageviews that lots of people do arround here and over the net is making "dramas". That is, to start telling they are sad because X and Y (usually lies or stupid things) and they want to leave deviantart. suddently all people come to make them feel better, wining pageviews with the process. I hate when people do that, because that is playing with other people's feelings, and because I had to deal with one of them (that person had and still have a personal obsesion with me, and use to do drama trying to involve me all the time =_

Basically pageviews comes in a "popularity contest". so I tend not to think too much into it. After all it doesnt work as a "skill level" . And the best proof is that, in my opinion, your skill overpases a lot the number of pageviews you actually have.

Dont mistake it ^.- people's art skills must not be "classificated" with a random number like the pageviews.

Yap, subscriptors can make their journal more colorful and full things in front page if they are use the service.

Ya, I got a fanart “bleach” got a lot of hits, almost 300 pv every day. It is not affect my front PageView. Fanart always ROCK for click. My some fanart do for my brother and friends .I found some fanart member got heavy click in their page…no only fanart, another like yoai, yuri,hentai also. So dangerous here, cos it is encourage them to draw more and more to get the hit, and finally lost their own style and Way.(maybe that the way they are like)

Ya, it depended how active in DA or some community area. I ever suggested the DD got 500 pv on the day of featured.DD is the strong way. popularity contest also in community form~XD…….

lots of people become obsesed with their pageviews in deviantart, they forget what they really are, just a popularity contest XD. I have been here for a while and I have seen a lot of cases so I learned they are not what people think ^.-
