I've seen Avatar lately, 3D imax. It was beyond my expectations, however I don't think it's the best movie I've ever seen. Surely it has exceeded what I've seen in several ways. I can't really judge. They were timely with the whole concept, environmental issues aren't exactly a thing of the past, making it an up-to-date movie. The story however was lacking and I can't really relate to the whole typical formula Cameron has set on screen. Every minute was mindblowing, but a movie shouldn't rely on visuals to do the storytelling. And the visuals were good. My perspective on this might be more eleborate than most of the fans, but I do agree, the movie was amazing. They also succeeded in making the best visual characters since gollum in lotr. The na'vi could easily have been mistaken for real characters. The movie was almost 3 hours long but it certainly didn't feel like that much. In before Cameron gets oscars.
I think the story is kinda dull but the graphic is amazing. I'm in awe of the graphic the whole time that the story didn't matter much well that's only my opinion =w=
